What Is A Book Club?
People always ask what is a "reading group" or "book club".
Reading groups comprise of book lovers who meet regularly (usually monthly) after having all read the same book. They then discuss how they felt about reading the book and how it impacted on them. Usually over coffee and cake.
Some hold meetings in homes, some in public places. The Shenton Park store is happy to take bookings for book club meetings in our premises during opening hours (we are closed in the evenings) provided the members purchase their book from The Well Shenton Park.
Book Clubs Support
The Well Bookshops are happy to advise on suitable choices for book clubs. We offer a 15% discount on the purchase of 6 or more copies of one title. Please allow 2 weeks for titles not currently in stock, or more for special orders. |
