Price Fluctuations
While we attempt to assure that all prices on the website are the actual retail prices, sometimes they are adjusted for reasons out of our control. We will always contact you if there is a difference in price and reserve the right not to sell at the displayed price.

Payment Methods
Australia's The Well Bookshop accepts Bankcard, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and JCB as credit cards, either online or via fax. You can also pay by bank cheque or money order. If you pay via cashier's check\bank cheque, please ensure it is made out in Australian dollars. If you live in Perth, you can order the books online and collect them from either our Shenton Park or our Applecross store, if you wish. There you can also pay cash or using EFTPOS\debit cards.

Vouchers
Yes we do vouchers! Our vouchers are redeemable at either www.thewellbookshop.com or our Shenton Park store. We charge no postage for a voucher, they last for 12 months, and can be made out for any amount.Purchase a voucher here.

Redeeming a voucher?
To redeem a voucher, shop first, then simply enter the Voucher code (on your Voucher) at Checkout. You will need to supply us with another method of payment so we can collect postage.

Using Your Basket
If you wish to purchase any book on the site, click . This will then take you to your shopping basket where you can then set your country and delivery method. Doing this will calculate your postage immediately.

How Do I Remove Books From My Basket?
Simply set the quantity for the book to 0 and then press the Recalculate button below the basket.

To remove all items at once, press the Clear Cart button above the basket.

Checking Out
To complete the order select the checkout button to enter your details. You will then be able to enter your credit card details using a secure server (if you wish). Some office internet connections do not connect to secure sites, so if you are at work, you may experience difficulties with the secure connection. If you have problems with our secure server or prefer not to order via the internet, please select the Fax Order option.

Cookies
Australia's The Well Bookshop makes minimal use of 'cookies'. This is completely safe and nothing about you is stored on your PC. Only an encrypted code which identifies you and this can only be accessed by our website. If you do not accept cookies, shopping and interacting with us will not work. In this instance, you can still email us your requirements.

Australian Goods & Services Tax
A 10% Goods & Services Tax will be imposed on all sales (including postage) from 1st July 2000. This will only apply to orders which are shipped within Australia. Due to tax rules, all overseas orders will be exempt from GST. Australian purchasers will only see the GST applied in their basket.

Postage Costs & Delivery Times
To calculate your postage, which varies depending on which country we are shipping to, the weight of your books and how many books, simply add books to your basket. At your basket you will be given any exact cost.

AIR MAIL RATE will take 1-2 weeks to arrive (sometimes quicker).
ECONOMY RATE will take a 3-4 weeks maximum to arrive (sometimes quicker).
AUSTRALIA POST is the only way we send books within Australia - it will take up to 4 working days to arrive.

NOTE: The times above are DELIVERY times. If a title is not in stock then it will have to be ordered in and this can take between 7 to 10 days - we will always notify you.

We have kept postage to a minimum. Vouchers do not incur postage if ordered alone. Audio Cassettes are charged at Hardcover rates due to their awkward shapes.

When We Charge You
If you order via credit card, we do not charge your card until we have dispatched your books. No earlier.

Cancelling
You may cancel your order any time between ordering and before we have shipped your order. We will simply suspend the shipping and charge you nothing. If you are too late - never fear - just send us the book(s) back when they arrive for a full refund or credit for the cost of the titles - the postage is not refundable.

Returns
If you receive a book which is damaged or which is not what you ordered, please email us at service@thewellbookshop.com as soon as it arrives (within 1 week of receiving the book) and post the book back to us. We will send a replacement book and any costs which you have incurred in returning the book. The replacement book may need to be ordered in and this may delay replacement. If the book cannot be ordered any more, we will credit your account.

If you change your mind about the title, please email us at service@thewellbookshop.com within 3 days of receiving the title and we will advise whether it is returnable or not (some imported books just won't go back, no matter how hard we try!). If it is returnable, then just send it back and we will credit your account. Please make sure it is in tip top condition.

15% Bulk Discount
Order 6 or more copies of the same book and earn a 15% discount of your purchase. Perfect for book clubs, educational institutions and managers. This does not apply to already discounted titles and the figure will not earn Well Coins, but is extremely economical! We will contact you with exact postage so you pay the least possible.

Books on Consignment
One of our best services for book clubs is The Well Lending Library. We have approximately 150 titles available for hire from only $5.50 per month. This is extremely economical and very practical. The books are always in good condition - sometimes they are new. You can also purchase the book if you really liked it and we simply charge you the normal price less the amount you have already paid. You can view The Well Lending Library online then contact us to reserve copies. As this service is very popular, you must book in advance.

Exchanges
If you purchase a gift which your friend already owns or doesn't like, you can swap it for a same priced book - no problems. Simply tell us if you are tentative about the gift and we will place a Well sticker on the book. This way we know it is from us and we can happily exchange it.

Free Gift Wrapping
Yes, we do gift wrapping. Simply let us know when you are ordering (at checkout) and we will package it up attractively for you free of charge.
