Andrew Child

Andrew Child is the pen name of British-American author Andrew Grant, who since 2020 has co-written and later solely written the Jack Reacher series alongside — and eventually in place of — his older brother Lee Child (the family name is Grant; "Child" is the shared pen name). Andrew had already published his own acclaimed thriller series, including the David Trevellyan novels, before joining the Reacher series as Lee began stepping back from full-time writing, a transition designed to preserve the character's voice and quality for future books.
