Caroline Waight is a British literary translator working from Danish, German and Norwegian into English. Based near London, she has translated fiction by authors including Caroline Albertine Minor, Ingvild Rishoi, Maren Uthaug and Dorthe Nors, working across literary fiction, crime and other genres, and her work has been recognized with a place on the shortlist for the 2023 PEN Translation Award and a listing for the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation. In this catalogue she is credited as the translator of Locked In (2024), the tenth Department Q novel by Jussi Adler-Olsen, continuing the series' practice of crediting a new English translator every few installments as earlier translators moved on to other work.
