Graham Brown

Graham Brown is an American author who became one of Clive Cussler's principal co-writers, continuing both the NUMA Files series (featuring Kurt Austin) and the flagship Dirk Pitt series after Cussler's death in 2020, alongside Cussler's son Dirk Cussler. Brown's collaboration with Cussler began with Devil's Gate in 2011, and he has since written or co-written a substantial run of entries in both series, carrying forward their trademark mix of real-world maritime history, globe-spanning action, and high-concept technological threats.

Before his writing career, Brown worked as a commercial airline pilot, a background that shows up in the technical detail and confident handling of aircraft, submersibles, and other vehicles across his novels. He also writes his own standalone technothrillers outside the Cussler franchises, but is best known to readers specifically as the author trusted to keep NUMA's world running at a franchise level after its creator's death.
