Helen Brann

Helen Brann was Robert B. Parker's longtime literary agent, credited as co-author on Robert B. Parker's Silent Night, the final Spenser novel Parker left unfinished at his death in January 2010. Rather than leave the manuscript incomplete or hand it to an unrelated writer, Brann, who had represented Parker for decades and knew his voice, plotting instincts, and the Spenser world intimately from her professional relationship with him, completed the book for publication in 2013, giving longtime readers a proper closing installment from someone who had shaped the series from behind the scenes for years before ever appearing on its cover.
