J.D. Barker

J.D. Barker is an American author of psychological thrillers and horror fiction who became a frequent collaborator of James Patterson, co-writing multiple bestselling thrillers together across different series and standalone titles. Barker's own solo debut, Forsaken, and his acclaimed Fourth Monkey trilogy, a dark serial-killer thriller series, established him as a writer skilled at sustained dread and intricately structured plots before his partnership with Patterson began. Barker has also collaborated with other major thriller and horror writers, including a novel co-written with Dacre Stoker, a descendant of Bram Stoker, extending Dracula lore.
