Jerome Preisler

Jerome Preisler is an American writer known for tie-in and media-adjacent fiction across military thriller, true-crime, and television-novelization work. His original fiction includes the war-history-adjacent titles First to Jump (about the World War II paratroopers whose story also informed Band of Brothers), War Paint: The Filthy Thirteen Jump Into Normandy, and, with co-author Kenneth Sewell, All Hands Down, an account of the sinking of the USS Scorpion.
