John French

John French is a writer and freelance game designer from Nottingham, England, known for intricate world-building, cerebral plotting and psychologically layered characters across a career spanning more than twenty books. He is best known for the Ahriman series, following the exiled former Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons, Ahzek Ahriman, in the chaotic aftermath of the Horus Heresy — a series praised for treating a nominal villain with genuine tragic depth — and for seven novels within the New York Times-bestselling Horus Heresy saga itself.
