Justin Scott

Justin Scott is an American novelist who has written across multiple genres over a long career, including mysteries, historical fiction, and sea-going thrillers, before becoming Clive Cussler's collaborator on the Isaac Bell series. The Isaac Bell novels are set in the early twentieth century and follow a detective for the Van Dorn Detective Agency, blending period atmosphere with the technological transitions of the era, from early automobiles to aviation and industrial-scale crime. Before working with Cussler, Scott wrote under his own name and other pseudonyms across several series, including nautical suspense novels drawing on his own experience and interest in sailing, and the small-town New England mysteries in his Ben Abbott series.
