Lani Diane Rich

Lani Diane Rich is an American author of contemporary romantic comedy who also writes paranormal romance as Lucy March. Her novels favor sharp, self-deprecating heroines and comic set pieces in the same broad tradition as Jennifer Crusie, whose work she has cited as an influence; she later became known as a writing-craft teacher and podcaster, co-hosting story-structure podcasts aimed at other writers. In this catalogue she appears as one of three co-authors, alongside Jennifer Crusie and Anne Stuart, of Dogs and Goddesses (2009), a comic fantasy-romance in which three very different women discover they're the mortal vessels for ancient goddesses -- a multi-author collaboration that sits outside her solo romantic-comedy backlist.
