Natalie Pope Boyce has written 35 books across 1 series. Start with Magic Tree House Fact Tracker.
Natalie Pope Boyce is an American children's nonfiction writer best known as the co-author, alongside her older sister Mary Pope Osborne, of the Magic Tree House Fact Tracker series (published in some editions as Magic Tree House Research Guides). She joined the Fact Tracker line starting with book 9, Dolphins and Sharks (2003), succeeding Will Osborne as Osborne's principal nonfiction collaborator, and has co-written the large majority of the series' 44 volumes published since, pairing history, geography, and natural-science topics with their corresponding fiction volumes in the flagship Magic Tree House series. Before turning to children's nonfiction, Boyce worked for years as a probation officer, a background she has cited in publisher materials as sharpening her interest in careful research and plain, accurate explanation for young readers. In this catalogue she is credited as co-author on 35 of the 44 Fact Tracker entries in data/series/magic-tree-house-fact-tracker.json, spanning subjects from ancient Rome and the American Revolution to sea monsters and endangered species, consistently as Osborne's co-author rather than as an independent originator of the series. The Fact Trackers exist to accompany specific Magic Tree House novels, and Boyce's contributions follow that novel-by-novel structure rather than a separate authorial arc of her own.
