Steven T. Murray

Steven T. Murray (1943-2018) was an American literary translator who worked from Swedish, Danish, German and Norwegian into English across more than four decades. Born in Berkeley, California, he founded the small press Fjord Press and served as its editor-in-chief from 1981 to 2001, and won the UK's Gold Dagger award for translation. He is perhaps best known under his pen name Reg Keeland, the byline used on the English editions of Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy.
