Timothy Liebe

Timothy Liebe has written 1 book.

Timothy Liebe is an American comics writer, screenwriter, and journalist whose work spans several media. In comics, he is best known for co-writing Marvel's White Tiger miniseries with fantasy novelist Tamora Pierce, and he later teamed with Pierce again — alongside Julie Holderman and Megan Messinger — on Tortall: A Spy's Guide, an in-world nonfiction companion to Pierce's Tortall novels presented as the fictional spymaster George Cooper's own intelligence files. Outside of comics, Liebe spent over a decade as a freelance consumer-electronics journalist, served as senior editor of Computer Games Entertainment and contributing editor to Video Magazine, wrote for USA Network's Commander USA's Groovie Movies, and has appeared on science fiction and mystery panels at conventions including Boskone, Confluence, and WorldCon. In this catalogue, Liebe appears as one of five additional contributors credited alongside Tamora Pierce on Tortall: A Spy's Guide (2017); the exact division of writing duties among the five is not specified in available sources. Readers drawn to his work through that credit are really Tamora Pierce readers first, and should look to her Tortall novels — particularly the Alanna and Song of the Lioness books that introduce George Cooper — for the source material this companion volume expands on.
