Will Osborne

Will Osborne is an American actor, playwright, and children's author, and the husband of Magic Tree House creator Mary Pope Osborne, whom he married in 1976. Alongside his own stage work -- writing and performing in children's theater -- Osborne co-wrote the first eight Magic Tree House Fact Tracker companion volumes with his wife, from Dinosaurs (2000) through Twisters and Other Terrible Storms (2003), establishing the nonfiction-companion format that Natalie Pope Boyce would continue from book 9 onward. He also adapted several Magic Tree House stories for the stage as Magic Tree House: The Musical, drawing on his theater background to bring Jack and Annie's adventures to young audiences in a different medium.
