About this book
Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop returned to the same shop two years later, in 2023, at a shorter 308 pages, for a second connected festive story following The Christmas Bookshop (2021). Jenny Colgan again anchors the story around Carmen Hogan's aunt's failing, old-fashioned Edinburgh bookshop, using the small independent shop the way several of her series do -- as a hub for a wider story about community and reinvention.
