About this book
Sweeping the Series closed the trilogy two years later, in 2018, by far the shortest at 162 pages, wrapping up the third and final couple in Kate Stewart's Balls in Play trilogy against the backdrop of pro-ball ambition.
Its place in Balls in Play
Sweeping the Series is book 3 in the Balls in Play series. It follows Major Love. See the full Balls in Play reading order.
Balls in Play is a Kate Stewart baseball-romance trilogy: Anything but Minor and Major Love (both 2016) follow players working their way through the minor leagues, and Sweeping the Series (2018) closes out the run. Each book centers a different couple against a backdrop of locker-room camaraderie and the grind of pro-ball ambition, in Stewart's angst-forward contemporary style.
