About the Deer Lake series
Set in the small, tight-knit town of Deer Lake, Minnesota, this two-book series opens with Night Sins (1995), in which the son of a locally prominent family is abducted after hockey practice, pulling in small-town sheriff Mitch Holt and BCA agent Megan O'Malley as the investigation exposes the town's buried secrets.
