About the Lonesome Way series
Lonesome Way is Jill Gregory's four-book contemporary romance series set in the fictional ranching town of Lonesome Way, Montana. Each novel follows a different couple -- often a local rancher or rodeo cowboy and a woman with her own reasons for returning to, or trying to leave, small-town life -- against a backdrop of family ranches, close-knit community, and Big Sky Country scenery. It marked a shift for Gregory into the small-town contemporary romance that was reshaping the genre in the early 2010s, after a career built primarily on historical Westerns and co-written thrillers.
