Brad Taylor

Brad Taylor is an American author and retired U.S. Army officer who served for more than two decades, including nearly a decade in 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (Delta Force), before turning that operational background into fiction. He is best known for the Pike Logan series of military thrillers, following an operator in a deniable, off-the-books American task force called the Taskforce as it hunts terrorist threats around the world. The series is prized by fans of the genre for its procedural authenticity, drawing directly on Taylor's own special-operations career to render tactics, weapons, and tradecraft with a level of technical credibility reviewers frequently single out as unusual even within military thriller fiction. Across more than a dozen novels, Taylor has built out Pike Logan's world with a consistent supporting cast, including fellow operative Jennifer Cahill, while keeping each book largely self-contained around a new global crisis. New readers can start at the beginning of the series' publication order to follow the Taskforce's earliest missions, or pick up any individual entry, since Taylor writes each novel to work as a standalone thriller.
