Jack Du Brul

Jack Du Brul is an American thriller writer best known for co-authoring Clive Cussler's Oregon Files series, which follows Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the spy ship Oregon on globe-spanning missions blending high-tech espionage with historical mystery. Du Brul joined the series as Cussler's collaborator for multiple installments, continuing the franchise's tradition of fast-paced adventure rooted in real geography and historical intrigue. He also contributed to the Isaac Bell series of Van Dorn Detective Agency mysteries set in the early twentieth century. Before his Cussler collaborations, Du Brul built a solo career with the Philip Mercer series, a long-running set of adventure thrillers featuring a geologist-turned-troubleshooter who is drawn into conspiracies involving natural resources, hidden history, and international intrigue. Du Brul's writing is known for combining technical and scientific detail with brisk, cinematic pacing, a sensibility well suited to the collaborative Cussler franchises.
