Robin Burcell

Robin Burcell is an American novelist and former police officer and FBI-trained forensic artist who joined Clive Cussler's Fargo Adventures series as a co-author. The Fargo Adventures follow husband-and-wife treasure hunters Sam and Remi Fargo as they pursue historical mysteries and artifacts around the world, often uncovering conspiracies tied to their discoveries, and Burcell contributed several entries continuing the series' blend of archaeology, adventure, and globe-trotting action. Before her Cussler collaborations, Burcell spent over a decade in law enforcement, including work as a hostage negotiator and forensic artist, and drew on that background for her own solo thriller series featuring FBI agent Sydney Fitzpatrick. Her firsthand investigative experience gave her novels a level of procedural realism that complemented the more purely adventure-driven Cussler style once she joined the Fargo franchise.
