About The Adventurers' Club
The Adventurers' Club follows members of a Regency-era gentlemen's society devoted to travel, exploration and derring-do, each of whom finds himself unexpectedly grounded by a woman he can't leave behind. The Care and Taming of a Rogue (2009) opens the trilogy, followed by A Lady's Guide to Improper Behavior and Rules of an Engagement, both released in 2010.
The club itself -- its members, its rivalries, its running jokes about who's most likely to actually settle down -- gives Enoch a lighter, more comic frame than her family-based series, closer to a gentlemen's-club comedy of manners than a saga, even as each book delivers the same slow-burn courtship structure as her other trilogies.
