About the Bevelstoke series

The Bevelstoke trilogy follows the extended Bevelstoke family and their circle across three interconnected historical romances. The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever follows Miranda, who has loved her best friend's older brother, Turner Ashworth, since girlhood, tracking their relationship through her own diary entries as she grows from awkward girl to the woman he finally sees clearly as an adult. What Happens in London turns to Olivia Bevelstoke, a sharp, socially confident young woman convinced her mysterious new neighbor, Sir Harry Valentine, must be a murderer — and finds herself falling for him anyway while spying on him from her window. Ten Things I Love About You completes the trilogy with Annabel Winslow, under pressure to marry well for her family's sake, whose sensible engagement plans are upended by her attraction to the wrong man, Sebastian Grey, a charming but penniless heir.

The three books share overlapping social circles and recurring secondary characters from London's Regency ton rather than a direct family bloodline, and the trilogy is frequently paired with the Bridgerton and Smythe-Smith books in omnibus editions for readers working through Quinn's wider interconnected Regency world.

How to read this series

The three Bevelstoke novels can be read in any order since each is a self-contained romance with its own hero and heroine, though publication order — The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever, What Happens in London, Ten Things I Love About You — is the conventional listing and lets you spot the recurring social circle building gradually. None of the three requires having read Bridgerton first, though fans of Quinn's wider Regency-set books will recognize the overlapping social world.
