About The Notorious Gentlemen
The Notorious Gentlemen follows a circle of Regency-era friends whose collective reputation for scandal doesn't stop each of them, in turn, from being caught by an unexpected match. After the Kiss and Before the Scandal, both published in 2008, launch the series, with Always a Scoundrel (2009) closing out the trilogy the following year.
As with several of Enoch's series, the connective device here is a shared social circle rather than a family or a magical object -- each notorious gentleman's friends comment on and complicate his romance in turn, giving the three books a running conversation between entries even though each courtship resolves independently.
