Geronimo Stilton: Micekings sends the mouse-journalist premise to a Viking-inspired past, following Geronimo Stiltonord, a mouseking navigating fjords, longships, dragon threats, and clan rivalries in the frosty village of Mouseborg. As with Cavemice and Spacemice, the core Geronimo personality -- nervous, kind-hearted, reluctantly heroic -- carries over intact into an entirely new historical costume, alongside period-appropriate versions of his usual family and friends.

Each book is a standalone adventure built around a single Viking-flavored quest -- a dragon-tooth heist, a fjord boat race, a stolen helmet, a battle for a mysterious crown -- delivered in the same illustrated, colorful-typography chapter-book format that defines every Geronimo Stilton line. The setting leans into Norse mythology and Viking-age trappings (longships, sea monsters, clan chiefs) for its flavor of jokes and set pieces.

Running 7 books from 2013 to 2018, Micekings is one of the shorter and less widely distributed Geronimo Stilton spin-offs, sitting alongside Cavemice and Spacemice as a third historically-displaced take on the core format -- prehistoric, futuristic, and Viking-age respectively.
