About The Harlequin Crew

The Harlequin Crew follows Rogue, a woman who fled her hometown years earlier after the four boys she loved — Fox, Maverick, Chase, and JJ — broke her heart and drove her away. She returns to find they no longer just live in the coastal town, they run it, having built a criminal empire out of the gangs, secrets, and violence simmering beneath its postcard surface. What starts as a return for closure turns into entanglement with old wounds, new danger, and the same four men she never stopped loving.

A prequel novella, Devil's Pass, sets up the crew's backstory before the five-book main story runs from Sinners' Playground through Gallows Bridge, published between 2020 and 2022. It's a dark, gang-centered reverse-harem enemies-to-lovers romance with an older cast — characters in their late twenties — than much of Peckham and Valenti's academy-set work, and it stands entirely apart from the Zodiac Academy universe.

How to read this series

Start with the prequel novella Devil's Pass for backstory, then read the five main books in order: Sinners' Playground, Dead Man's Isle, Carnival Hill, Paradise Lagoon, and Gallows Bridge. It's one continuous story with a returning cast, best read straight through.
