About The Boys of Sinners Bay

The Boys of Sinners Bay follows the Romero brothers, sons of a mafia family locked in a turf war with the rival Calabresi family. Beautiful Carnage opens with Sloan, who set out to kill her father only to end up married to Rocco Romero instead, after the Romeros took her as collateral when the Calabresis proved impossible to beat outright — what begins as a bet over whether Rocco can make her fall in love becomes a genuine enemies-to-lovers reckoning. Each entry in the series follows a different Romero brother's own dark mafia romance rather than continuing a single couple's story, though the family and the city-wide conflict tie the books together.

Published in 2020, the series — also marketed under the name Dark Empire on some retailer listings — currently runs to two standalone-but-connected books, each ending in a clean HEA with no cliffhanger.
