Gravity is Sarina Bowen's early sports-romance trilogy set among elite ski racers and snowboarders training in Vermont, several years before True North moved her to farm country in the same state. It opens with Coming in from the Cold, in which downhill skier Dane "Danger" Hollister and local country girl Willow Reade are thrown together during a blizzard, and their sudden connection is complicated by a genetic heart condition that puts Dane's Olympic future at risk. Falling from the Sky follows Dane's snowboarding friend Hank "Hazardous" Lazarus, paralyzed in a half-pipe accident, and Dr. Callie Anders, the physician who once shared a brief, unremembered connection with him and now oversees his recovery. Shooting for the Stars closes the trilogy with Hank's sister, pro snowboarder Stella Lazarus, and Hank's best friend Bear, who have to weigh a night of long-suppressed attraction in Tahoe against Bear's loyalty to his injured friend.
Published in 2014 and 2015, Gravity predates True North and shows Bowen's sports-romance instincts before she moved into small-town family drama: high-stakes competitive sport, injury and recovery handled with real weight, and three interconnected couples who share a training circuit rather than a hometown. Readers who enjoyed the found-family thread in True North, or want faster-paced sports romance from Bowen, should start here.
Publication order, starting with Coming in from the Cold: Coming in from the Cold, Falling from the Sky, Shooting for the Stars. The three books follow one tight circle of ski racers and snowboarders, and later books lean on events from earlier ones (Hank's accident in book 1 drives all of book 2, and book 3 picks up right after book 2), so publication order is the only order that makes sense here. Each book still centers a new couple, so you always know whose story you're in even as the group's history builds.
Three: Coming in from the Cold, Falling from the Sky, and Shooting for the Stars, published in 2014 and 2015.

Not directly through characters, but both are set in Vermont and share Bowen's small-town, close-knit-community sensibility. Gravity was published a couple of years before True North began.
Yes, all three books were published in 2014-2015 and no further Gravity books have been announced.
