Dark Verse is RuNyx's dark mafia/crime romance series, each book named for its hero's role in a sprawling criminal underworld — a predator, a reaper, an emperor, a finisher, an annihilator, a syndicate boss. RuNyx (an Indian author who built a large following through Wattpad before going wide) writes possessive, obsessive anti-heroes opposite heroines who are frequently just as dangerous in their own right, with plots built around organised crime, revenge, and power struggles rather than sweet contemporary tropes. Expect explicit content, violence, and morally grey-to-black leads throughout.

Each book is a complete romance for a different couple connected through the same criminal world, with earlier characters and organisations recurring as the web of alliances and enemies expands across the series.
