Geronimo Stilton: Cavemice takes the mouse-journalist premise back fifty thousand years, swapping New Mouse City for the prehistoric settlement of Old Mouse City. The narrator here is Geronimo Stiltonoot, a Stone Age ancestor of the modern Geronimo -- same anxious, food-loving, disaster-prone personality, but now navigating erupting volcanoes, dinosaur stampedes, and cave-mouse politics instead of skyscrapers and deadlines. His extended family of cavemice (analogues of Thea, Trap, and Benjamin) rounds out a cast readers of the main series will recognize instantly in prehistoric costume.
