Geronimo Stilton: Heromice gives the mouse journalist a superhero costume, following Geronimo and his friends as a team of masked heroes -- MouseMask, Wondermouse, and company -- defending New Mouse City against robot attacks, floods, invasive insects, and other outsized threats using gadgets and teamwork rather than actual superpowers. It's a lighter, more action-driven register than the main series' mystery-adventure format, closer to a comic-book team-up than a whodunit.

Each book is a standalone mission built around a single citywide emergency, told in the same illustrated, colorful-typography chapter-book style as every Geronimo Stilton line, but with more emphasis on gadgetry, teamwork and physical rescue set pieces than the character-driven mysteries of the flagship books. Geronimo's usual anxious, food-loving personality still anchors the humor even inside the cape-and-mask premise.

Running 11 books between 2015 and 2018, Heromice was one of several action-oriented spin-offs Geronimo Stilton's publisher produced during the mid-2010s alongside Cavemice, Spacemice and Micekings, giving the core character a superhero-genre outing distinct from any of the historical-displacement lines.
