Watchers of the Throne follows the Adeptus Custodes and Sisters of Silence defending the Golden Throne on Terra in the immediate aftermath of the Indomitus Crusade, as the Imperium reels from the opening of the Great Rift. The Emperor's Legion (2017) centres on Custodian Valerian and Sister Aleya as internal Imperial politics and external threats converge on Terra itself, while a nightmarish force -- a vast, sourceless daemonic incursion -- rises from beneath the Throneworld.
