The Harbinger follows Trinity Marrow, a teenage Warden -- a supernatural guardian descended from angelic bloodlines -- tasked with hunting down demons that slip into the human world, all while hiding what she is from almost everyone she knows. Storm and Fury opens the trilogy with Trinity confined to her family's compound after a demon attack years earlier left her guilt-ridden and overprotected, until a mysterious, obviously-not-human guy named Zayne pulls her back into a fight against a demonic threat bigger than anything she's faced.

Jennifer L. Armentrout builds a new angel-and-demon mythology here, distinct from her other paranormal series, with Wardens, Upper Level demons, and a slow-burn romantic triangle running alongside escalating apocalyptic stakes. The trilogy leans into her established strengths -- a fiercely protective found family, banter-heavy romance, and a heroine who starts constrained and grows into real power -- applied to a fresh premise.

Complete at three books, The Harbinger is a compact entry point for readers who enjoy Armentrout's Covenant or Blood and Ash series but haven't tried this particular mythology yet.
